Happy Easter!
This was my last Easter as a single lady. Next year, I will be living with my husband and celebrating Easter with him. While I'm excited, it also saddens me.
I know I probably won't be coming home for Easter often. I wish I could. But trips home are only going to get more expensive with the cost of fuel. My family gets together for EVERY holiday and it really hit me this year that I won't be able to partake in all of them. Yes, I will come home for Christmas...that's a big one. But we won't be able to afford to come home every holiday. There will be things I have to miss out on.
Nick and I will establish our own traditions as well as carrying on the traditions of our families. But it just won't be the same without having my parents, my brother, my sister, my aunts, my uncles, my grandparents, and my cousins in the same household.
But I don't want to focus on or think about that. Because I had a great "last" Easter with my family.
That morning we went to church and then headed to my grandparents house.
We had a delicious brunch with mimosas. Then we had our Easter Egg Hunt. Yes, as adults. My grandparents STILL hide eggs with goodies inside them. They've done it from the time my brother (the eldest) could walk. And even though all their grandchildren range in age from 17-29 now, they still hide our eggs. AND baskets. Aren't they the best?! I don't know what I'd do without them! In my opinion, you are NEVER too old for an Easter Egg Hunt. I'm 26 years old and I think I enjoy it more every year.
(Sometimes I wish they'd make it more competitive though. But they make it "fair". We all have the same amount of eggs to find. Each one has our name on it. And we all get the exact same stuff in our eggs lol.)
So here is our Easter in a few pictures....I love my insane and loud and off the wall family.

I hope you all had as great an Easter as I did.
Thank you to my absolutely wonderful family for filling my day with lots of love and more laughs than should be legal :) I don't know what I'd do without you all. It makes me so excited to bring a husband and [in the (far) future,] children into this family! I LOVE YOU ALL!
